Position Summary

We are looking for a Quality Management Systems Consultant to join our team who will be responsible for creating and maintaining our client’s QMS in compliance with the US FDA regulatory requirements for software, ISO standards and related software regulatory requirements in other countries.  The Consultant will also support our client’s deployments of our software in regulated research, development and manufacturing environments, as well as client’s internal policies and procedures.  The Manager will be responsible for software quality documentation, tracking, follow-up activities, and metrics, working collaboratively with software development, commercial operations, legal, and other cross functional areas.

Astrix is looking for an experienced and versatile STARLIMS Delivery Manager (SDM) to join our Delivery team. This role is a critical component of our organization, owning and driving investigation, scoping, designing, and delivery for their team as well as an individual contributor. Our Delivery Managers work in a blended cross-functional capacity operating in step with both Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth and successful deployment and adoption of the STARLIMS platform.

Description

Reporting to the Director of Technical Services the SDM will support business-to-business relationships by assisting Astrix Commercial Operations secure STARLIMS related revenue streams; new opportunities with both new and existing clients. The SDM will help with scoping these projects and planning related resourcing. Once the commercial team secures the contract, they will be the primary point of contact for the new customer and will act as the primary escalation point for any technical/delivery issues in the relationship.

The STARLIMS Delivery Manager will be at the center of Astrix STARLIMS team and provide it with leadership. Core responsibilities are keeping the team fully engaged on client projects, updated on all feedback coming from the client, and ensuring that they adhere to client expectations. As a leader of the STARLIMS professional services team the manager will hold regular team meetings to review current work and provide reports to senior management about how their team and customer relations are performing. The delivery manager is also responsible for all billing and invoicing of the client and managing client expectations.

Responsibilities as LDM and Individual Contributor

  • Engage early in the Sales cycle to provide guidance to internal and external sponsors

The Indirect Account Manager will be responsible for the processing, development, conversion, and fulfillment of all leads received into the sales organization. The implementation of field level marketing programs and activities at the direction of Field Account Managers, Sales and Marketing Management will be a priority in this role. This position will also provide quotation creation and proposal generation support. The qualified candidate will possess previous sales experience, preferably with a global enterprise software based organization and excellent phone skills. Training will be provided on all product categories to be sold and mentored to develop excellent sales skills. With set targets, the goal is to increase sales and build long-term relationships via outbound telephone calls with prospective decision makers.
